Increase Your Circulation.
Increasing circulation optimizes the body's ability to function, not to mention, feels absolutely invigorating! Boost your blood flow instantly by trying these tips:
Scrub your body with a hot, damp washcloth in the morning and/or evening.
Use a dry brush before taking a shower. This is an essential little self-care tool in my book, and can be found on Amazon for less than $10. Start at your feet (don't forget the soles!) and always brush toward your heart.
End your hot shower with freezing cold water. If this sounds like torture, begin with 10 seconds and build up to an amount of time that feels right for you.
At the beach? Roll around in the sand, rubbing it all over your limbs and torso – then plunge into the ocean!
Choose Natural Materials.
From clothes and intimates, to towels and sheets, stay away from synthetic materials and harsh dyes. Read clothing labels just like you would food labels, and choose natural fibers (think cotton, wool, and silk), preferably organic.
What we put on our bodies is just as important as what we put in our bodies. Our skin is our largest organ, and it absorbs what it touches.
Use "Clean" Products.
Avoid products that contain chemicals and artificial perfumes. If you are trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle, it is essential that you put as much effort into clean products as you do clean eating!
Begin switching out your personal care and cleaning products by researching now. The Environmental Working Group's (EWG) website is a great place to start. Then, as you use up your current products, replace them with clean versions of the same.
Let Your Energy to Circulate.
Less is more! Nix the excessive jewelry, accessories, and make-up. Also, wear light and comfortable shoes and clothing that facilitate easy breathing and free movement.
